Erik Stevens, also known as Killmonger, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in the 2018 film *Black Panther*.

Born N'Jadaka, he is the son of Prince N'Jobu and an American woman. After his father's death at the hands of his uncle, King T'Chaka, N'Jadaka fled Wakanda and adopted the name Erik Stevens. He became a highly skilled U.S. Navy SEAL, earning the nickname "Killmonger" due to his ruthlessness.

Driven by a desire to avenge his father and liberate oppressed people of African descent worldwide, Killmonger challenged T'Challa for the throne of Wakanda. He believed that Wakanda's advanced technology should be used to empower those struggling against injustice, a stark contrast to Wakanda's isolationist policies.
